I recently had the pleasure of staying at Patyi Étterem és Hotel, nestled conveniently on the E66 road, perfect for a quick trip between Austria and Lake Balaton. The moment I stepped in, the friendly staff made me feel right at home with their attentive service and a warm welcome drink that set the tone for a fantastic stay. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped with an ensuite bathroom, a TV, and even a cozy seating area to unwind after a long day of exploring. I appreciated the fast WiFi, allowing me to share my adventures in real-time. The true highlight though? The on-site restaurant dishing out delicious traditional Hungarian fare at surprisingly good prices, making it a perfect spot for me and my travel buddies to indulge. Free parking is a big plus in this part of the world, and with easy access to the main roads, it felt great to park and forget my car for the night, diving straight into the lively local nightlife that the area has to offer. If you're heading this way, I highly recommend making Patyi your home base-great food and comfort await!
